UpRange Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 1, 2026
UpRange (the “App”) is operated by Asuka Technologies LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 175 Kinderkamack Road #1041, Park Ridge, NJ 07656. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices. Questions? Contact us at contact@asukatechnologies.com.
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide:
- Account information: email address, and a password or one-time verification code (OTP) used to sign in and reset access.
- Profile information: display name, username, and an optional profile photo (avatar).
- Content you create: shooting sessions, stages, scores, notes, and comments.
- Media you upload: videos and images you attach to sessions or posts.
- Communications: messages you send us (e.g., support requests, feedback).
- Subscription information: if you subscribe, our payment processor collects your payment details directly from you in your web browser. We do not receive or store your card number. We do receive a customer identifier, your subscription status, and billing period dates so we can tell whether your subscription is active.
Information created through your use of the App:
- Activity and performance data you record (e.g., session times, scores, stage configurations).
- Data from connected Bluetooth (BLE) shot-timer devices you choose to pair, such as shot timestamps and timer readings. This data is transmitted from the device to your phone via Bluetooth; we do not access your device’s other Bluetooth connections.
- Bookmarks and saved posts.
Information collected automatically:
- Basic technical and diagnostic information such as device type, operating system version, app version, and crash or error logs.
We do not knowingly collect precise GPS location, and we do not sell your personal information.
2. How we use information
- Create and manage your account and authenticate you (including OTP sign-in and password reset);
- Provide core features: recording sessions, syncing stages, publishing and viewing posts, saving and bookmarking content;
- Store and display your content and media;
- Operate offline mode and sync your data when you reconnect;
- Maintain, secure, debug, and improve the App;
- Process your subscription, confirm payment status, and provide the paid features you are entitled to;
- Send you account and authentication emails, such as sign-in codes, verification codes, and password resets;
- Communicate with you about the App, including service and support messages; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. How your content is shared
- Public posts and profiles: If you publish a post or make profile content public, that content (including your username, avatar, and any attached video/images) is visible to other users in the App’s Discover, Gallery, and similar features. Do not publish anything you want to keep private.
- Private content: Sessions, stages, and saved items you do not publish remain associated with your account and are not shown publicly, subject to our access for operating and supporting the App.
- We do not sell your personal information or share it for third-party advertising.
4. Service providers (sub-processors)
We use trusted third parties to run the App. They process data only to provide services to us:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage (including profile avatars).
- Cloudflare (including R2 storage) — storage and delivery of uploaded media such as videos and images.
- Stripe, Inc. — subscription payment processing and billing. Stripe collects your payment details directly and acts as its own controller for that payment data under its privacy policy. We receive only a customer identifier, subscription status, and billing period dates.
- Resend — delivery of account and authentication email, such as sign-in codes, verification codes, and password resets. Resend processes your email address and the contents of those messages.
- Apple App Store and/or Google Play — app delivery and crash reporting.
These providers have their own privacy practices. We do not use advertising networks, third-party analytics services, or cross-app tracking.
5. Data storage, location, and retention
- Local storage: Much of your data is stored locally on your device (including offline-mode data) and remains until you delete it or uninstall the App.
- Cloud storage: Content you upload or publish is stored with our service providers (Supabase, Cloudflare R2) and retained while your account is active or as needed to provide the App.
- If your subscription ends: we continue to host photos and videos you previously uploaded for at least ninety (90) days, after which we may permanently delete them. See Section 10.8 of the Terms of Service.
- Published stages: a stage you have published becomes part of the shared UpRange stage library and is kept after your account is deleted, so that other users’ sessions recorded on it keep working. It retains an opaque designer marker rather than your name or profile. See Section 5.5 of the Terms of Service.
- We retain information as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it.
6. Your choices and rights
- Access/update: You can view and edit profile information in the App.
- Delete content: You can delete sessions, stages, and posts you created.
- Delete account: You can request deletion of your account and associated data in the App’s settings or by emailing contact@asukatechnologies.com. We will delete or de-identify your data except where we must retain it by law.
- Depending on where you live (e.g., California/CCPA, EU/UK/GDPR), you may have additional rights such as access, correction, deletion, and portability, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these, contact contact@asukatechnologies.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including authentication and access controls provided by our infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Security incidents and breach notification
If we discover a security incident that has compromised, or that we reasonably believe has compromised, the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your personal information, we will:
- investigate promptly and take reasonable steps to contain the incident and limit further access;
- notify you without unreasonable delay, and in any event within the time required by the law that applies to you, using the email address on your account, and by a conspicuous notice in the App or on our website where we cannot reach you by email or where the incident is broad enough that individual notice is not practicable;
- tell you, so far as we know it at the time, what happened, when, what categories of information were involved, what we have done in response, and what you can do to protect yourself; and
- notify regulators, and any other parties, where the law requires it.
Nothing in this section limits any notification right you have under the law of your state or country. If you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization, contact us immediately at contact@asukatechnologies.com and change your password.
9. Age requirement
The App is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account or use the App, and we ask you to confirm this when you sign up. The App is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly permit them to create accounts.
If you believe someone under 18 has provided us information, contact contact@asukatechnologies.com and we will delete the account and its data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and change the “Last updated” date, and, where required, provide additional notice.
